A lifestyle blog bringing you fashion, music, food, and everything else that's just nice about Bristol and beyond!
We are into February – FACT! Goodbye January, hello February, shortest month of the year! So whilst we’re fighting our way through the winter months I have to be admit I’ve definitely started to notice that the days have been getting longer and it’s not pitch black by 4pm anymore – surely that’s something to be excited about! Anyway, on with this week’s highlights!
This week Frankie’s highlight is…
BEEF! And not just any beef but this gert beef flank from a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur called Fuego’s. If you’re in this neck of the woods do come and sample the delights as you’ll get to eat some of the best food you’ll ever eat while sitting with a gorgeous view of the Patronus towers. I went with friends who are visiting and it really is about the nicest thing to happen.
Another random sign I have found lurking in Bristol!
I love a random sign and Bristol is a haven for them! This week I discovered this little beauty as I walked down St Stephen’s Street and I thought it was lush! It instantly conjured up the image of poor old Aslan from Narnia out of work and having to open his very own bookshop here in Bristol. On further research I have discovered that this is not the case that the Aslan Bookshop is actually a Christian Bookshop, and unfortunately a giant, yet friendly and wise lion doesn’t live there… Shame.
