A lifestyle blog bringing you fashion, music, food, and everything else that's just nice about Bristol and beyond!
This week has been another eventful one in the news… Maggie has finally popped her clogs, North Korea is starting to jump at it’s own shadow (and the only way to retaliate is to get the missiles ready) and ASDA’s corn beef cans contain banned substances (is that really a surprise… to be honest I am slightly disappointed there isn’t any real health dangers involved). With all of this doom and gloom let the just nice dream team provide you with some ace things that they are finding just nice this week!
This week Frankie’s highlight is…
Glow in the dark nail polish, so my disco guns look super awesome when I’m out dancing. There’s chatter on Pinterest about making your own by breaking a glow stick into clear nail polish, not sure how safe that is? Also, you can just buy it all made up for you and sure to be safe, hopefully, maybe. OK, so buy the pre-made stuff to be safe, paint it on them nails (boys you can too, this is a modern world we live in and I don’t want anyone to be left out), get down your local discotheque with UV lights, unholster the guns and get dancing!
Mother flipping Game of Thrones!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year or so, and particularly the past few weeks, you would have no doubt caught wind of some of the hype surrounding the hotly anticipated season three of HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Set in the fictional Medieval land of Westeros, Game of Thrones follows the journeys of an extensive range of characters, most of whom are either trying to kill each other or shag each other. There’s tonnes of gore, some bad ass dragons, some seriously epic battles and loads of boobs…seriously…what more could you want?
This week Cloe’s highlight is…
Being able to go outside and not want to die of cold!
This is a totally practical just nice this week, but having the ability to go outside and not want to instantly run back in doors is amazing. Finally I don’t have to completely dread leaving the flat and it really is such a relief to know that ridiculous wind chill isn’t going to instantly get into my bones. I am going to point out that I’m not just totally weather obsessed but, it really is just nice to finally feel like spring is on its way! Yay!
