The Friday Chair Dancer

37858453087322420_EHgR2LXX_cThere are so many reasons to be in a good mood today that I’m literally about it explode. It’s Friday (the last one of this god awful month!), it’s pay day and it’s also Burns Night, which means it’s absolutely compulsory to get shit faced on whiskey and pretend that you have some sort of Scottish heritage, no matter how distant.

So when you find the time between eating haggis and attempting to Highland Dance, why not take a listen to our Friday Chair Dancers? They’ve been making us boogie this week, and we hope they’ll get your weekend off to a great start too!

This week Meg’s chair dancing to…

Perfect 10, by Sazon Booya & The Mane Thing.

If I had to chose one genre of music to listen to exclusively for the rest of my life it would have to be Moombahton. It never fails to get me dancing, and from a DJ’s perspective I know that irrespective of whether the crowd has ever even heard of Moombahton, they’ll love it. There’s just something about it that makes people want to dance.

So this track from Sazon Booya (I have a sneaking suspicion we’ll  be hearing more from these kids in the year to come) is the best of both worlds. It’s got that bounce that gets people moving with Moombahton, but it features the most amazing 90’s piano riff, which is enough to get anyone going.

It’s definitely going to be a new addition to me Moombahton set for when Duchess plays out, and I hope it gets you bouncing as much as it has done for me!

This week Cloe’s chair dancing to…

Daft Punk – Digital Love

This is a wonderfully classic track from the worlds greatest DJ’s – Daft Punk! On this rather dull day I thought we could all use a little colour and this is a wonderful video to sit back and enjoy. I choose this track because in my opinion it’s slightly underrated in  terms of the Daft Punk back catalog and I think it does deserves the spotlight a little more! So hope you enjoy it and remember there was no music before Daft Punk! FACT!
