It's Just Nice

A lifestyle blog bringing you fashion, music, food, and everything else that's just nice about Bristol and beyond!

What we think is just nice this week!

The winter coats are finally back out in force and Kate Middleton has made them socially acceptable by rocking her Reiss number on a Royal outing. For me personally I love that fact – it means the clothes underneath almost become redundant and that winter coat and booties become your pride and joy! But that’s enough about the return of the winter coat, let’s crack on with what we are finding just nice this week!

This week Cloe’s It’s Just Nice highlight is:

Having a good old wardrobe clear out and then selling it all on eBay!

Most people find it hard to clear out the clutter and cull their beautiful clothes. I am certainly one of them, but this week I decided with a new season firmly upon us I desperately needed to have a big clear out and get selling on eBay. I have imposed a one in one out policy on my wardrobe so it’s out with the old and in with the new! Selling your beloved clothes maybe hard to do, but getting cash back and buying some new beautiful bits certainly eases the lost! I urge you all to get ruthless!

This week Frankie’s It’s Just Nice highlight is:

Dr Martins.

I recently rediscovered my pink patent 8 eyelet Docs and now I want more! But now I want some black patent 3 eyelet shoes! These bad boys are made to last, they look awesome with everything and they’re good for kicking people! I’m joking! I wouldn’t kick anyone…..Also they would go lovely with my black Cambridge satchel and tweed trench coat. Loving Autumn hard!

This week Meg’s It’s Just Nice highlight is:

Glastonbury!!

I was up on Sunday morning with the rest of the hoards, attempting to get tickets to next year’s Glastonbury and I’m extremely pleased (and maybe a tiny bit smug) to report that I got one!

This year’s tickets sold out in record time, 1 hour 40 minutes, which considering there were 135,000 to shift is pretty staggering. As far as I’m concerned that’s testament to Glasto being one of the best festivals in the world.

I’m even more excited about going next year as my great mates, Tara and Dean, are coming along for the first time. For anyone who hasn’t been before, that moment when you walk over the hill and see the sheer scale of the festival is quite honestly breathtaking, and I can’t wait to see their faces when they realise that everything as far as the eye can see is festival!
